Skydive Wissota is 100 miles east of Minneapolis (about a 1-1/2 to 2-hour drive), 20 miles northeast of Eau Claire, and about 8 miles from Chippewa Falls.
NOTICE TO PILOTS: Skydive Wissota airport is approximately nine miles east on the 070 radial from the Chippewa Valley Regional VOR (EAU).
Since Lake Wissota Airport is private, permission must be obtained before landing. Caution should be used since jumpers may be in the air anytime. When approaching, monitor 122.75 for more information.
WEATHER: Please check the weather conditions if you have doubts about jumping or are driving a long distance to get to the dropzone. The weather could be stormy in Minneapolis and perfectly sunny in Wisconsin!
